I spoke to Gaile in LA ID 1 last night, and asked her if we would be getting PvE Rank/Fame emotes.
She indicated that PvE players would indeed be getting 'something special'!!!

I have a friend who works for Anet and he tells me that the new tormentor's set looks kinda like a pirate's outfit. The facial scar is actually an eye patch.

That's awsome Zi, I like to give misinformation to my friends to joke on them too.
Besides, that would interfear with their new pirate class.
Some good updates BTW.

"SOmething Special"? Like having another good portion of our skills rendered nearly useless/ineffective? Or are they gonna do another price reset so that all the people that are on can buy 5 bazillion ectos?

Err... You did see that there was a note about DirectSong on the LOGIN screen right? If you go to the DirectSong site, there is a free Sorrow update. There are also two additional music updates for $5.99 each.
The truth is that Anet has given me more than my $'s worth of entertainment, so I bought both music updates... They're fairly good... well, kinda...

heh winamp is great
i keep SOAD, sublime, offspring, afrika bambaataa, james brown, gorillaz, and the amazing congo band on repeat while i play my computer games, i have no idea what the music on d2, guild wars, ragnarok online, or endlessages sounds like
